Dylan's Journey is OUR Journey!

Dylan is 10 yrs old, very outgoing little boy however he was diagnosed with JRIA in 2011, He takes 42 pills a week and a shot of humria!  A week ago Friday on Oct 24, 2014 Dylan came down with a fever, headache, dizziness and had no engery!  As I thought it was just viral because his immune system is not what a normal 10 year old kid should be we rode it out till Monday!  I had him seen at the doctor still same symptoms!  She told us it has to be a viral but decide to check his levels! They came back high but said it was probably just the viral infection messing with him. He was seen in the ER on Thursday and came to his iowa city doctor on friday and admitted on Sunday come to find out he has Histoplasmosis. His liver is enlarged , fever, dizzy , headaches no engery! Had to keep meds down when he keeps throwing up so today he had a chest X ray and tomorrow he will have an ultrasound done on his liver!  Update!! Dylan has Histoplasmosis and the highest levels they have seen in 35 years!! They tried a med and it didn't work! Doctors decided to switch him to  a very potent med that could effect his kidneys but honestly it's the chance we have to take! We are on day 18 of this sickness and day 9 N the hospital! Not expecting to get out of the hospital anytime soon!!!  Driving back in fourth, med bills and meds has taken a toll!! I'm not able to work and Brent is taken sometime so we avoid the driving back in fourth also! I know everyone is struggling I hate to even ask, if anyone knows me, knows this is last resort.
