Studies in Wildlife Conservation

I'm an environmental science and pre-veterinary student at UCA with a passion for wildlife conservation. I was recently accepted into a program (Loop Abroad) that will allow me to study under veterinarians that work with some of the endangered species in Thailand this fall, such as elephants and the declining marine wildlife. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will give me first hand experience that I had only dreamed of until now. The experience I'm going to receive will help me jumpstart my career in conservation and make my application to veterinary school stand out.

Though I have received scholarships, not all of my tuition has been satisfied. Only a handful of students are accepted into this program so I have to meet a deposit of $5000 by May 1st to reserve my spot. This leaves a remainder of $12000 in tuition that must be paid before classes start on August 26th. I also need to cover the airfare, vaccinations, and living expenses that go along with spending a semester overseas.

This opportunity is an honor and something I feel very blessed to have received. I will be more than grateful for anything that you might be able to contribute.
