Suzette, Harper, Susan, Grandma, Suz, Suzette’s mom, the lady from CAS Monogramming in Yukon... do any of these names ring a bell?
Well, I hope they do for somewhere along the way one or all of us have crossed paths with you- either through church, school, Yukon, Leadership OKC, soccer, OKC Chamber, fencing, Science Museum Oklahoma, volunteering for Autism Oklahoma to The Arts Festival, or you might just be good olé family and dear friends who we have been blessed.
Harper Finn Ellison has been offered the opportunity to travel to our Nations capital (yep, Washington DC) for his 5th grade class trip (I can’t believe he’s in 5th either).
We are trying to raise $5000 for all travel expenses which include his sponsors as well (of course I wouldn’t miss it and most who know Grandma nor would she).
I know a lot of you have done many fundraisers throughout your kids years, and I am sure we all agree it is by far not on the top of our lists.
I promise you I’m not going to try to sell you a candle, wrapping paper, magazine subscription or any of the countless number of ideas going through your head right now.
This future starts with our kiddos- these young, fresh, creative, out of the box thinkers, tinkerers, makers, change negotiators, Mars scientist, difference makers and simply put the Future of the world.
So, what better way to help build their educational foundation than through travel not just anywhere but to one of the most historical cities in the United States.
I am politely begging if you are able to make any type of investment to one of our future leaders of the world!
