Ana's Transition Fund

Hi there,

I'm Ana, and I'm a Trans woman from Toronto, Ontario. I've set up this Go Fund Me to help pay for my transition. 

I first came out just over 2 years ago and started hormone therapy shortly after. I've been living as myself full time ever since. It hasn't always been easy, but its been good. I'm amazingly luck that Canadian health care covers bottom surgery, but for me, my dysphoria comes from more than that. My hairline had receded quite a bit before starting hormones and hasn't been coming back in, so I can only wear my hair certain ways without feeling incredibly uncomfortable. On top of that is my voice. Every time I answer the phone or call someone new I always get the "Hello sir," no matter how hard I try. 

My wife and I have been covering what we can and saving what we can to cover these procedures, but the costs are high.

Any little bit helps my wife and I not go deeper into debt and anything above and beyond what my goal will be passed forward to other trans folks trying to cover their own costs. 

Here's a break down of estimates and the order of my goals:

$30,000 Facial Feminization

$13,000 Hair transplant

$̶5̶0̶0̶0̶  ->$20,000 Vocal feminization & training
