Help with Medical Bills

Why do bad things happen to good people?
My dear friend and coworker Bonnie was diagnosed with tongue cancer a little bit over a month ago.
Life has been handing Bonnie quiet a few lemons and she has faced many hardships. 
Over the past 10 years Bonnie has been helping her patients and families as a Hospice bereavement coordinator cope with death and dying. She is super dedicated to her work. Even during this difficult time she is only worried about her patients and their loved ones.
Bonnie has started her radiation treatments which are becoming more difficult - physically and emotionally.  She is currently at week 5 of her 7 week, 5 day/week treatment. At this time she is facing many side effects including painful radiation burns and an inability to eat due to excruciating pain. Bonnie told me the other day that even breathing is very painful.  It is heartbreaking to see such a genuine and compassionate woman deal with her own mortality and the daily physical pain.
Bonnie just found out that her insurance will not cover her radiation treatments. We are trying to raise some money over the next 2-3 weeks to help her with her medical bills.
