Big Dee's College Fund

Dametrices (prounounced Da-mee-tree-us) Pitt is a freshman football player and Biology major at Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. He is affectionately known as 'Big Dee'. Originally from New Jersey, his mother and siblings moved frequently during his childhood due to poor economic conditions. Eventually the family resided  permanently in Adairsville, Georgia where he attended Adairsville High School and lettered in three sports. Recently, his mother passed away and left he and his siblings homeless. Currently, his dorm room is home and he is only receiving partial aid for his tuition costs. He hopes with hard work and persistence that he will earn enough athletic money next year to cover these costs. Unfortunately, to survive his freshmen year, he will need $6000 to cover what his financial aid package will not. He will be the first person in his family to graduate college and knows that he is an example for his seven brothers and sisters.
