I am Charles Kerner, the Husband of Sandra Kerner. We were seperated and have a child together (Kelsey) but still had a wonderful friendship. I also raised her other son Colton Fogler since he was 2 years old. Late sunday night or early monday morning Sandy's abusive boyfriend Brian Gordon MURDERED Sandy. He shot her with a shotgun while she was holding her newborn 7 week old baby. The baby was found underneath her when the police arrived. The baby sustained non life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. I am told the baby has a scar on her side. According to the sherriff's office, the murderer text HIS mother and told her to come get the baby then went outside and shot himself. Colton is in THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE and we are trying to get custody of Sandy's 7 week old baby. We feel that the baby belongs with her siblings not the grand parents of the muderer who are in their late 50's. We can financially support the child but we are struggling to pay these attorney fees in order to fight for custody. If donations are made every dime will go towards keeping these children together. Should we receive an overage of money then we will donate the balance to SARC which is a local organazations that assists battered and abused women. Any help however small is appreciated. I have plenty of new articles to prove all of this and pictures of the couch and carpet that are stained with my wife's blood that I was forced too see. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. This has been unbearable for my 15 year old and she is now in counseling as well. She wants her sister home with us. Not living with the murderers parents. Thid is her last tie to her mother that was taken from her. This tragedy has been overwelming to us all and our family put together all our resources for her funeral and burial.
