Kylee Jacobson Memorial

Approximately 3 weeks ago there was a lump we found on kylee’s inner leg. We decided to take her in to get it checked out. The doctor called later that day for an emergency biopsy to be performed. She went in for the biopsy and they ended up finding a 8cm by 9cm mass. The doctors told us they were sending this mass in for further testing and a whole cancer screening, but there was a 90% chance that the mass would be benign. About a week later, she had an appointment to go over the pathology report, it was then our lives were gonna change forever. The mass not only expressed our biggest fears, but she was also then diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma. A couple days later her senior year was put to a halt, as she couldn’t go to graduation practice because she needed more testing, and a set date to be admitted to start chemo and radiation. As this is not only going to change our daily lives, but the only hospital that’s able to help her is 110 miles away. The doctor informed us that our family would need to relocate because she can’t be further than 25 miles away to receive her treatment. Now more than ever, Kylee needs us, and that’s why we’re asking for all the help and support we can get.
