Lucy touched many lives with her joyful spirit. She was a dedicated wife, mother and teacher to many children.
She let us know years ago when she retired after 35 years of teaching, she wanted to raise money for school supplies for the students who could not afford to buy their own.
I have heard from many of you, who want to know how you can help, or send flowers etc.
Lucy would be happy if we spent that money on school supplies for her kids instead of flowers.
We will buy the supplies and send to students at her former school, where she taught for most of her career.
