Hi there!
My name is Dustin, and I'm from Philadelphia, PA. A month ago, I applied for an art workshop in Canada. The program would house four students and allow them to focus on creating new art and networking with working professionals for one month. I applied to the program and and was interviewed for a spot, and I found out I got in!
It was a great feeling, and I would love to go and study with these cool artists, but at the moment I don't have the money to do it. I'm working as many hours as I can with my current job, and my family wishes they could help, but it wouldn't be enough.
That's why I've created this Gofundme. The opportunity I've been given is one I can't pass up without trying every possible thing to get there.
As it stands the program itself is $5000. That takes care of my housing, food, and supplies. The other $1000 would help cover travel costs of flying to and from Quebec. Any other expenses I'd cover on my own with money I've saved up for this trip.
