Duplin EMS Destroyed Provider Homes

My name is Scott Russell and I am a paramedic with Durham County EMS.
During our recent deployment to Duplin County to assist with rescue/recovery efforts after Hurricane Florence I met a Duplin County EMS provider and family that lost their home because of flooding. I spoke with their supervisor afterwards and learned Duplin EMS has 2 families with flooded homes. They did not have flood insurance and did not qualify for FEMA assistance. I assured their supervisor, Kirk Tripp, that I would do everything I could to assist these 2 families.
I know a lot of people have already donated food, water, time, and have been deployed to assist. I want to try to help these 2 families specifically to rebuild or relocate their homes. To do this, I would like to take the money from this GoFundMe page and give them each a gift card for Lowes Home Improvement to give them a head start in their efforts to rebuild their lives.
The two families that lost their homes are the Cannon Family and the Snell Family.
Every cent raised will go into 2 gift cards for the 2 families affected by Hurricane Florence. I would like to complete this GoFundMe by October 15th.
