Este GOFUNDME foi criado através de uma iniciativa minha em um desejo genuíno de ajudar e apoiar nossos amigos e congregantes locais da Igreja Bethel em Danbury, Connecticut durante um período de grande dor e tristeza.  De nenhuma maneira eles me pediram para fazer isso.  Eles são pessoas incrivelmente gentis e generosas que ajudam qualquer pessoa que encontrem necessidade.  São mensageiros de esperança, e hoje precisam da nossa ajuda! Ontem à noite, uma congregação e comunidade local de Connecticut foram impactadas por um grande incêndio em seu prédio. Alguns membros estavam ensaiando para um próximo evento, quando a fumaça saiu de um local desconhecido.  A Igreja Bethel na Main Street em Danbury, CT foi incendiada e tudo dentro dela foi destruído em menos de uma hora devido ao fogo.

Como você pode ver no vídeo, o fogo destruiu todos os seus móveis, eletrodomésticos, equipamentos de som, vídeo e áudio, instrumentos musicais, artigos infantis, etc.   Levou anos pra que eles pudessem construir aonde eles estavam a 24 horas atrás! Como vocês podem imaginar, eles estão devastados.

 Esta igreja e congregação tem sido um farol e um local de cura para muitos na comunidade de Danbury e moradores ao redor de Connecticut que vão para o culto lá.  Eles ajudam  a fornecer necessidades básicas e apoio para muitas famílias carentes. Independente das limitações financeiras que as igrejas estão enfrentando durante a pandemia.

 Hoje eles PRECISAM URGENTEMENTE do seu apoio.  Um GO FUNDME foi criado para ajudar a Igreja Bethel de Danbury e dar suporte em sua  transição enquanto buscam um lugar para reconstruir do zero, e para que possam continuar em sua missão de servir e fortalecer as famílias dentro de Danbury e dos residentes locais de Connecticut.

Here are the details: Last night a local Connecticut congregation and community were impacted by a fire to their building. As a few were rehearsing for an upcoming event, smoke erupted from an unknown location. The Bethel Church on Main Street in Danbury, CT, has burned down, and everything within it was destroyed in less than an hour due to fire.

 

As you can see in the video, the fire has destroyed all their furniture, appliances, sound and video and audio equipment, musical instruments, children's items, etc. etc. It has taken years for this church community to build to where they were twenty-four hours ago, and as you can imagine, they are devastated.

 

This church and congregation have been a lighthouse and place of healing for many in the Danbury community and adjacent Connecticut residents who worship there. They have helped provide basic needs and support to many needy families regardless of the financial limitations churches face during the pandemic.

 

Today they URGENTLY NEED your support. A GO FUND ME has been created to help the Danbury Bethel Church support their transition as they seek to rebuild from scratch to continue on their mission to serve and strengthen families within Danbury and local Connecticut residents.
