About to lose everything!

Hi.  Thank you for taking the time to read our letter.  My name is Mark and my lovely wife, Michelle was involved in a very traumatic car accident on December 19, 2014.  The accident left her in the confines of a wheelchair and I have been her caretaker ever since.

Someone pulled out in front of her while she was on the way to work and then left the scene.  She hit a culvert pipe which stopped her immediately at 60 miles an hour.  It took parametics 2 hours to cut her out of the car and she was life flighted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.  She broke both her legs with compound fractures in one of them and in her right arm in several places.  Her ribs, clavacle and scapula were also broken and she had a collapsed lung.  She barely made it through and we thought we were going to loose her.  God brought her through and allowed her to come home to me, AMEN!  She is still dealing with having to have more surgeries and we had no insurance and we are dealing with medical bills out the yazoo.  He helicopter flight alone to the hospital was over $50,000!!!

Her mother, whom had open heart surgery back in November 2015 can no longer take care of herself and we took her in with us to take care of her.  However, she got an infection and was re-admitted to the hospital in December and was there up until April 30th.  Now she is back home with us and she has to have home health come out along with a lot of medication because of the infection that came about after her surgery.

We didn't want to ask for help because I believe a man should be able to take care of his family.  Despite pleas on Facebook to get carpet cleaning work for our business, Miracle Clean Carpet Cleaning, we haven't been able to secure enough work to pay our bills.  If you have work for us in the Carrollton area PLEASE contact us through our facebook page.  The phone number is listed there.

In March 2016 we allowed someone to move into our small house behind our home for free because they were fixing to be homeless.  Less than a week later the house caught on fire and is now unliveable.  If we are unable to pay our mortgage, this was the only place we had to go.

Our vehicle's transmission is about to go out in our only means of transportation and I have been babying it just to get around.

As if that wasn't enough, someone broke into our home about 3 weeks ago and stole what little money we had saved, about $5500, to pay our bills each month.  This was the icing on the cake.  I am 52 years old and I have worked for everything we have and so has my wife.  It just urks me that there are people out there who will NOT work but don't mind stealing from others who are willing to work hard for what they have.

I hate asking anyone for monetary help but I know that it's easier for 1000 people to donate a little money than it is for 1 person to donate a lot.  We don't want to put anyone out of anything and it would not be right to ask someone to help, have them do it and it put them in a bad position.  We will be using the money to pay doctor bills, living expenses, repairs, utilities and other unexpeted expenses.  We are a church going couple and we believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and we pay our tithes so if you cannot afford to help, if you would keep us in your prayers, it would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you and God Bless!
