Help DSC build an outdoor skatepark!

We're Doncaster Skate Co-operative, a collective of skateboarders running DSC skatepark and community space in Doncaster. We'd really like some help to raise some funds to get outdoors summer ready and build some ramps and banks for all of our community to enjoy. We've already got a great rail ready to skate but it needs friends!

We'd like to build 2 flat banks, a kerb ledge and repair parts of the concrete and tarmac. Building this will increase the areas available for skating in the park and bring a whole new DIY street feel to outside. We also want to make more beginner friendly areas to skate, as our park is not easiest to learn in and we'd like to make it more accessible for everyone, with less intimidating obstacles for beginners. We plan for our outdoor area to be beginner friendly but fun for all levels of riding, with lots of obstacles to get creative with.

We've already gathered a lot of the materials we need, and just need a bit of extra help with the costs of the finishing concrete and rebar to reinforce.

A breakdown of the costs / what exactly we're fundraising for:

Concrete costs: £350.00

Rebar: £150.00

Curb stones and wood: £150.00

Joy we'll all get from skating outside in the summer sun: £priceless

Donations from our community have helped us build and create our upstairs mini ramp and make some much needed changes to the layout of the skatepark. We really appreciate every penny given, and want to keep putting everything we have into making DSC as awesome as can be. Your help and support helps us get there and we're super thankful :)
