Stand by Madison

Our beloved Madison McCullough was involved in a major car accident Saturday March 17th 2018 (saint patricks day) when a car made an illegal left hand turn in front of her on a main road in our small town. She was airlifted from San luis Obispo to Fresno Saturday night. She has sustained major life changing injuries including broken vertabrea's in her neck, a broken back, shatterded pelvis (an extremely rare injury, broken in three places and the worst that the surgeons have ever seen, completely separated from her spine), a few broken ribs, a ruptured spleen, a collapsed lung, and I slight concussion. She has recieved multiple blood transfusions and is being monitored very closely. She is currently stable, conscious, and breathing on her own. We are extremely lucky that she is alive. We are very lucky that despite damage thats been done to the vertebrea there is no damage to her spinal cord and hopefully she will be able to walk again but at this time it is not a guarantee. She is making progress every day and we are hopeful that she will make a full recovery and be back on the Race track by next racing season. She is pretty ticked that she’s missing it this year. We will try to keep you all in the loop as the situation unfolds. we are taking it day by day and appreciate all of the prayers, love and support that she has recieved so far.
