Drumshanbo Christmas Lights 2024

The Drumshanbo Christmas Lights Committee are requesting donations to assist with improving and maintaining the Christmas Lights. Each year the lights are erected by a group of volunteers at no cost.

For Christmas 2024, the Christmas Lights Committee purchased commercial projectors to shine on the gable walls of the old Bank of Ireland (Drumshanbo ExCHANGE) building and the Library. We have also purchased over 200m of additional rope lighting and refurbished a number of Star Lights. The cost of these additions is approximately €5,000

The Drumshanbo Christmas Lights Committee would like to thank:

· Everyone who donated funds in person and through the GoFundMe page last year;

· The Shroomsday committee for their donation;

· Lough Allen Vintage Club for their Christmas Light Parade;

· The many business owners who give access to premises for electricity and provide access to teleporters, forklifts etc.;

· Drumshanbo Enterprise Centre for storage;

· Leitrim County Council.
