Family and friends, I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your support in helping me reach one of my many dreams. To be a part of a top world class corps, in Drum Corps International.
Drum Corps International, DCI, delivers the message of excellence in performance and in life. The annual tour is made up of more than 100 events throughout North America. The goal of DCI is to promote and inspire unparalleled excellence in music and performing arts.
Members and auditionees are required to attend a weekend long camp once a month, November-April. During this time preparation for the season begins. Once May comes around members move into their rehearsing site for spring training which involves rehearsals and more intense preparation for tour.
Being part of such a group does not come for free, each member is asked to raise for their tuition and touring fees. These fees cover for all meals, transportation and housing during the three months of spring training and tour. This also includes uniforms, instruments, equipment and months of detailed musical and movement instruction.
I have been granted the opportunity to be a part of Carolina Crown this 2018 season. Your donations and support are ultimately investing in my career as a future music educator and musician
