Why must I complete this life-saving mission in 2023 you ask? Here is a quote of actual figures from Dr. Frank McCormick P.H.D.-regarding people with end-stage renal failure:
"Thus, half of the 126,000 patients who are currently diagnosed with ESRD each year—63,000 patients—might medically benefit from a transplant. However, if only 20,000 patients per year receive a transplant, the remaining 43,000 would join the growing toll of those who die prematurely because of the kidney shortage. Those figures include children to a degree, and it is my mission in 2023 to see that a minimum of 100 children's lives are saved because 100 adults like myself came forward and donated their spare kidney to save a child.
How can you Participate?
Make A Donation: Segment #1 The West- I have now visited with families in Cincinnati, St.Louis, Jackson, Mississippi, Houston, Austin, and Dallas. I will begin a 20 city tour of the east coast on July 10th. All contributions, no matter how big or small, will help me reach my goal of traveling to 30 states and over 12,000 miles, to make a difference in the lives of those children.

How I Will Help To Save 100 Children's Lives: By traveling to 30 states and traveling over 12,000 miles using an Chevrolet Hybird vehicle.
By holding a minimum of 50 Tv interviews with families whose child needs a kidney transplant. By holding events at each stop, to engage the local community, to share our message with them. By documenting my journey and sharing regular updates on social media, to keep all of our supporters engaged. By presenting actual figures in those interviews, which most adults cannot fathom of how many kids need a kidney today, how many are in kidney failure, and how many we lose each year. By showing myself, a man at 61 years of age. who carries on a fulfilling life with one kidney- the same life I had when I had 2 kidneys over 10 years ago. By letting adults know that if they have been blessed with good health, they can share that health and wonderful life with a sick child, and save that child's life. More information about Kidneys For Kids: Kidneys For Kid's mission is to provide financial help to families whose child is battling or needs a kidney transplant. Kidneys For Kids will reimburse families for costs of their child’s kidney treatment, or transplant costs that are not covered by insurance such as lodging, meals or transportation costs. Reimbursement will be limited to amounts of $1000.00 per year per family. There is no income limit to qualify for a micro-grant from Kidneys For Kids
