Driven For Daison

Donation protected
Daison Pursley, a 17-year-old USAC Midgets racer from Locust Grove, OK sustained serious injuries in a crash on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Arizona Speedway in San Tan Valley, AZ. Daison was racing a competitor for the final transfer spot in their heat race when their wheels made contact, sending Daison into the air before the car barrel rolled and landed on its side.

Daison broke his C4 and C5 vertebrae in his back and has a severe spinal cord injury. He is currently in the care of Banner Medical in Mesa, AZ. They are beginning the process of physical therapy, but Daison is still unable to walk or stand due to his injuries. The goal is for Daison to eventually be moved to a facility that specializes in spinal cord rehabilitation and research, however financial concerns are currently hindering those efforts. The sooner Daison can be moved to a facility of that nature, the better, because it would allow for a brighter outlook on his future.

The family is currently facing large medical expenses due to the nature of, and circumstances related to Daison’s injuries. The Pursley’s appreciate any amount that you feel driven to give and ask for thoughts and prayers for Daison as he takes on his recovery.

Thank you for the support.
-Bond Suss, on behalf of the Pursley Family.
