I am proud to share that I am a second year Junior at Georgia State University.  I have chosen to major in biology so I can be prepared to move on to go to dental school. My ultimate goals is to become an orthodontist.  I want to be a leader in the dental industry and while I become one of the best in my field. I am also committed to becoming a community leader that will support children that lack the resources to obtain specialty dental services.  


Recently, I was offered a wonderful opportunity to study Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering abroad in China.  This is a course where I will receive 4 credits while I am able to learn about this important subject in another country.  This is a great way for me to see cutting edge technology as China is one of the worlds leaders.  Enhancing my understanding of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering will help me understand ways to apply this technology in dentistry.  This is a rare opportunity as this is one the few abroad study options for STEM majors.  


I am a full-time student and employed full-time as a concierge at a major hotel in downtown Atlanta.  I also volunteer in the community working with children as a Big Sister with Big Brother Big Sister.  I am a hard worker and take pride how I am working hard to support myself in my college journey.  However, the costs of this course program  exceeds normal tuition and fees.  I have decided to create this gofundme page to solicit support from people to help me cover the cost of this unique opportunity.  I appreciate any contribution you can make to this effort.  For those who do not have the financial means to donate I welcome you to send your positive energy and thoughts of support of me on my educational journey to become one of our worlds next great leaders in the field of dentistry.
