Dreamtrip to USA

Since I was a child I have dreamt of once being able to travel to the USA. As I have Muscular Dystrophy Duchenne, my breathing has to be supported by a machine 24 hours a day, and because of this, the doctors have advised me not to fly. So, I am now trying to realize my dream by taking a ship.
My trip is planned to start on 17th August to 16th October 2018. My cabin on the Queen Mary 2 from Hamburg to New York and back is booked. On these two 9-day transatlantic Cruises, I will be accompanied by my mother and 2 friends/assistants, who will help me physically during the voyage. Once I have reached New York, I will be able to travel for 6 weeks before the ship returns to take me back home to Europe. During my travels in the US, another 3 friends/assistants will support me alternating as drivers. Our total group will then be 5.
While in the US, I wish to at least visit New York, Washington DC and Boston. To once stand on top of the Empire State Building, to see the Whitehouse with my own eyes and to pass through the holy corridors of Harvard University will be my dream come true. Of course, I wouldn’t want to miss one or two Basketball, Ice-hockey or Football games! The home of my absolute favorite Football team, the New England Patriots, is after all just around the corner from Boston!
The cost of this trip is very high due to the fact that I need 4 assistants, but without them I could not fulfill my dream. Therefore, I would be so grateful for any kind of donation, no matter how small!
