Dragon Family Leukemia Fund

On Sunday, December 21, 2014 Adam Dragon was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He is currently hospitalized and will remain there for at least a month for extensive treatments and procedures. AML is the most aggressive form of Leukemia and long term survival is rated at only 20%. While most families were busy preparing for Christmas this year, himself, his loving wife Lily and their four beautiful children were faced with this enormous challenge. To say it was a shock to all is an understatement.
No one expects to hear this type of news and no one can be fully prepared for it. Even though this is by far one of the worst experiences Adam and his family could face, they are relying on their God given strength to get them through. Amidst all of his suffering, weak and extremely painful moments have and will shake him but nothing will destroy his faith. They as a family are focusing not on their fears but on Christ, what he did on the cross for us and what he continues to do for us still. This is not just a horrible affliction of a tainted world but will be a living testimony of the power of PRAYER, the God given PURPOSE we all posess, and the PEACE that only HE can give during crisis. Adam has firmly expressed his desire to fulfill God's will and believes there is an amazing plan for him. A plan where the fruits will be far more extraordinary than his suffering.
Because of their faith, his young children have shown such maturity during this time. They cannot visit their father for up to a month while he has treatment and have accepted wholeheartedly that Mommy needs to be with Daddy at the hospital while they are cared for by family and friends.
First and foremost, we ask you to PRAY! God hears us.
Adam was the sole provider of Lily and their children and they have always lived a very humble lifestyle. He will not be able to work indefinitely and during this crisis they will need much financial help to stay afloat. Any support large or small is so greatly appreciated. We thank you in advance for your prayers and support. God bless.
