Dr. William Thomas O'Byrne was tragically and mysteriously killed while on vacation in Mexico.
LIFE: His family intends to host a Celebration of Life Party in Birmingham, AL sometime in April or May of 2018. It is our hope to do right by Bill and make this a truly memorable evening, created out of love, honoring our love for him. Some of the funds raised will go to help off set these costs.
Death: The family is in the process of hiring an attorney in Puerto Vallarta. Along with this attorney and help from the FBI and the American Consulate, we hope to learn what happened to Bill, and maybe even find justice. Some of the funds will go to help pay for this and other expenses related to the investigation into Bill's murder.
A strict accounting of all expenditures will be kept and made available to any who ask. The family does not know how much any of this will cost and has no idea how much can be raised. But rest assured ALL funds will be directed toward celebrating Bill's Life and trying to solve the mystery of his death. The family's only goal is to do right by Bill.
