Dr. Nathan Harper, who was in our program from 2010 to 2016, died recently in a car accident. He is survived by his small child and wife. The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 7th @ 12:00 at Mount Helm Baptist Church, 302 East Church Street, Jackson, MS 39202.
Dr. Harper earned a Master's degree at MSU before returning to JSU to become a clinical psychologist. He completed his predoctoral internship at Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addictions. His postdoctoral placement was at G.V. Montgomery VAMC. Most recently, he was a clinical psychologist at the Michael Debakey VAMC's Primary Care Mental Health Integration at Houston, TX.
