In loving memory of our dearest brother, Haider Rahim,

Ahmed, Zainab and Noor have created this fundraiser to continue the blessed memory and beloved deeds of our most precious Haider.

We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love for Haider and the hundreds of messages we have received. He is described repeatedly as a kind, generous, loyal, humble and gentle person. The light he brought to our home is irreplaceable.

Over the last few months, Haider was deeply affected by the massacre and maiming of children in Gaza. We spoke about it almost daily. He donated to several charities himself.

On this basis, we have decided to donate 50% of raised funds to Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sittah's new foundation, dedicated to critically injured children from Gaza: https://gabusittahchildrensfund.org/

We are also donating 50% as a Sadaqah Jaariya (continuous gift) in the form of wells and water access in Yemen via Saba Relief: https://sabarelief.org/religious-dues/sadaqah-jariyah

We will share an update here with receipts of the final charity donations once complete.

For those asking, as of 29 February, we are still awaiting further details on his autopsy ahead of organising the janazah and burial, followed by the Fatiha (memorial).

May Our Lord elevate Haider to the highest of heavens. May he be in utmost peace and joy. We will miss you so much.
