Thank you to everyone who has contributed to my GoFundMe, this means the world to me. I wanted to let you know that my car was found in Hawthorne in the parking lot of a business. From what I can see, the catalytic converter was stolen, there is damage to the front and rear bumpers, the rear-view mirror is missing, the front windshield is cracked, something is jammed in the ignition, and the inside was trashed. It looks like it will be a total loss, which was not the outcome I was hoping for, as this was my only transportation to school. Thanks again for contributing, every bit helps.

I was in class when the theft happened and only found out about it from social media. The person whose car was about to be stolen interrupted the thieves and started recording. The person then posted the video on social media and I happened to watch the video as I was walking back to the parking lot. I recognized my car immediately and was instantly filled with fear and anxiety. How will I get home? How will I get to work or run errands?
The theft was reported to the police and they told me that this type of car is often targeted by thieves for parts. The car is a white, 4-door 2014 Kia Optima.
