Help Joe Boxer

Hello, I have set up this account to help my sisters fourlegged baby. A few weeks ago, my sister noticed a lump on the base of Joe Boxers neck. a few days later, his poor eye was all swollen. It seems theyre haveing a hard time pin pointing what exactly is going on with Joe. Today, Joe had a vet appt to under go anesthesia to get a closer look and see if his lump was operable. I posted below what my sister posted on her facebook.

Update #1 from Dr. Amber: Hi amanda, I'm just messaging to let you know that I will probably be doing Joe last today on my surgery schedule to leave enough time to do whatever I need to do. That mass is very firm and I have discussed with other doctors the possibility of removing it. I'm concerned about the location. I am still awaiting the fine needle aspirated cytology which I would like to have prior as well. He is doing great and I will keep you updated


Update #2: Joe will not be getting x-rays today. The doctor did not want to remove the lump without a CT so she can see if it is attached to anything vital. Tom will be taking him in through Blue Pearl ER in Southfield tomorrow as they have no open appointments. He will then get a CT and be treated for that. Please cross your fingers for Joe, and also in hopes that they're running some sort of holiday sale on CT


***My sister does not know I have set this up for her and Joe. If you  know my sister, you know how much her dog means to her. She spends her spare time saving dogs, cats, birds  you name it; she rallies for pitbulls and maybe has one too many cats (ones with a story of course).  I know people love their animals, But I have yet to meet someone who loves their pet as much as my sister loves Joe. They have been through it all together and are in tune with eachother like a momma and her baby. This is not his time yet, it can't be. If any of you can spare something to help get some answers and help my sister get through this costly CT scan.... I know there will be a few hearts that will be forever thankful.
