Help repair Mr. Tucker's knee

Hi Everyone! Mom calls me Mr. Tuck-a-Doodies but you can call me Tucker. I am 5 ½ years old and we just moved from Arizona to Washington, D. C. with the Air Force. About two years ago, while Dad was on a deployment to Afghanistan, I was with Grandpop in Wisconsin enjoying what they call “wide open spaces”. It was then, that I tore my left cranial cruciate ligament (CCL), which is part of my knee while trying to catch a rabbit. ‘No big deal,’ I thought; Dad will fix it. And so my leg was fixed with surgery! Fast forward to a few weeks ago and my right leg started to hurt. I didn’t really mind because the pain would come and go and I started to get a lot of treats called vitamins and anti-inflammatories. What I really didn’t like was that Dad and Mom wouldn’t let me out to play without keeping me close on a leash. This made me sad because I had to stay inside a lot and not play with my sister Ellie. Two weeks ago, I figured I would catch a squirrel. With my leash on, I nearly pulled Mom over (I’m 85lbs) and I had to watch Ellie chase that darn squirrel without me. Well, that was when I did it. I tore my right cranial cruciate ligament. I went for a double whammy with the CCL’s but I don’t think Dad and Mom appreciated it. The vet said it would cost another $4,300 to fix my right leg. She also said that the repairs should last the rest of my life so I can’t tear any more CCL’s. I am sure I can figure out something in the future though…. Please help Dad and Mom pay for my surgery and pray I make a good recovery!
