The Dover School will be teaming up with muralist, Jason Naylor to create an exterior wall mural on the theme of kindness and tolerance.
The funds will be used to pay for paint and materials for the project which is a 39 foot exterior wall.
Funds will support the IB project of two sixth grade students who set out to demonstrate that grafitti and street art, when used for positive change, is not a crime.
Funds for the paint and materials are needed by June 15, 2019.
Hello, our names are Kelsey and Breck and we are both 6th graders from Dover Elementary, IB, School. For our last year in this school, we wanted to leave a positive mark/message behind. We are doing this project to show that kids of all ages can make a difference in their community. Things like a simple IB project can extend into creating a mural with a famous, positive graffiti artist.
We have recently received approoval from our school board to create this wall. Jason is donating his time with us however, we expect expences such as the cost of paint, housing and any adittional charges that may come up, that we need to raise money for.
Thank You so much for helping us achive our goals!!!
