I’m Samirah (they/she/he), and I’m hoping to raise $5000 to pursue my doula certification (with Doula Training International) and complete this semester of college.
Black birthing people are 3 times more likely to die during childbirth than anyone else, due to the lack of care and support offered to us. I hope to change how birth workers engage with the Black community and make sure we get the support we deserve.
My goal is to reach $2000 by September 25, and hopefully raise all $5000 by October 25, so I can make my payments on time. Thank you so much for your support!
