Douglas Family Stolen Subaru Fund

Hello everyone,✌

☆My name is Gabriella Douglas.☆This is a fundraiser for the Douglas Family. We are both essential workers for two different grocery stores. Before the Pandemic hit I was working full-time as an elderly care provider and in a Restaurant as a prep-cook & server. Now I amonly able to work one day a week. My children's school closed and we have been doing remote school.

Help Save the Animals & Kids of Hiro Farms! (We are a brand new farm, just started 5/1/21. This car was our way to get water, food,& to deliver duckling babies when it was stolen on 5/16/21!‍✌

 ☆ Our '04 Black Subaru Forrester XT (Turbo) was stolen on Sunday (5/16/21). My husband went into the small local store here on the KeyPeninsula, Wa. He went in for a few minutes to grab a jug of distilled water for our 4 duckling incubators, when someone Carjacked him! ◇◇ Unfortunately our insurance won't cover any of this on our limited policy. 

☆We only had this car for less then 1 month. It was meant to be my first car that I can use for my driver’s license test. Also we have 3 kids. A daughter 16 yrs, son 14 yrs, and a son 6 yrs. This car took us 2 years to be able to afford. ◇ Our budget is now obliterated and we currently spend all of our money on the kids, and on our homestead farm of animals. We just started a duckling & gosling breeding business to provide pets to people experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression. **(We've been using x4 incubators too keep up with all the eggs). Also to any kids and adults who just want a duck as a pet or for eggs. My goals to get our farm up and running with the use of this car are now destroyed by this abrupt tragic loss. Our animals are in danger of going hungry because of the huge financial loss from this. We feel like we a drowning without a life jacket/ raft, so-to-speak. Definitely have a hard time fighting that sense of hopelessness. 

☆ Josh is a very caring man and only tries to help those around him. My husband was on his way to do all his laundryand my kids clothing that day at the Laundromat. So all his new work outfits, jackets and boots are all taken too. He has 3 New Camel-back backpacks filled with all of his stuff. All in the car and taken too. Everything from his Win. Surface Pro laptop, New Cell phone, Tools, New work boots/cloaths, expensive knife collection, Medicine, other valuables, & pretty much everything he owns up here!

☆ We have a large storage unit in California, near my mom's house that is filled with all of our stuff that we need to get up here to Washington to help replace some of the things stolen. Our family moved here in 2017. It is so expensive to transport it all, and no room until we can get our own property, in the future. We live in a very tiny place and that is why he kept his personal backpacks in the car. Unfortunately, there is simply no extra room in side. Plus our 5 mo. old puppy is teething, we were just trying to keep his stuff safe. Now we will never think any car is safe again... Even in our small community, in the middle of the Forrest.

⭐⭐ Our story was just aired on Fox Q13 News & Washington's Most Wanted!!

☆The Sheriff has the two thieves on video, and know who they are. The problem is that they are homeless / drug addicts, probably from the local area. There is no known address to link them to. We are contacting the local news to try to get help from the community to track these Cereal- Car Thieves down. The suspects are on tape in a Silver Eclipse. The Purps on tape include a very young man that is suspected to be a Wanted Fellon, with a Warrant out for his arrest from previous car theft charges.

☆This event has crushed our families spirits. We try so hard to be good people and productive members of society. Please find it in your heart stop help is get another car.

☆ I have looked and can not find a replacement 2004 Subaru Forrester XT * This is a rare color, Java Black Pearl ~ I had to hunt this one down for a long time. Also has lots of custom parts, (with moonroof ). What is worse then loosing the Subie is that the total loss of the items stolen with in the car are worth over$8,500!
