Douglas Brain Stroke Recovery

Douglas is a 42-year-old, intelligent, sweet, and given young man from Houston, TX  that has always dedicated himself to his widow sick mother and his family. In 2004 his father passed away leaving "Doug" to care and provide for his mother and two young siblings. He Put his social life and love life on hold, to work hard and provide everything for his family at home. He kept two jobs most of the time and made sure there was always food on the table, he even worked extra shifts. In 2008 a beautiful angel came his way his first niece leaving " Doug" to fall in love with, he has never had children of his own, he took his kindness and father love to ensure his beautiful niece had everything in the world since her father was absent in her life. Years went by in 2015 he gave his love life a try falling in love with a beautiful hard working woman that has always been there for him and care for him, making decisions to the next step and making sure he had stability he was going to marry soon. Unfortunately, his dreams and goals were put on hold because, on August 27, 2017, during Hurricane Harvey in Houston, "Doug" was struck by a stroke, he was admitted immediately into Methodist Hospital. He was in a comma in NICU for a couple of weeks, he just started moving and eating a bit with assistance.
