Double AmputeeVet need help buying a van

Chef Carl is a disabled US Marine Corps Veteran and now a Double Amputee.   Chef Carl needs money to buy a special mobility vehicle so that He can get back into the mainstream work force... This has been a very long journey for Chef Carl because he recently received his prosthetic legs from the Veterans Administration after waiting over 3 years for them.  He is now undergoing serious rounds of Physical Therapy from the VA so that he can walk again so that he can again become a contributing member of the US work force... “Chef Carl says, “I just want to be able to work again and I believe that if I can drive again that would give me the necessary mobility that I need to return to the work force again... I hate living off of this Social Security Disability !”  One of the things that Chef Carl loved was cooking food for homeless Veterans and giving out his delicious meals to those Vets.  He accomplished those tasks with the use of a van before he unfortunately lost his legs. And with your help that’s just one of the events that he can do again with a sense of self-worth...

The only van that Chef Carl can successfully drive is a wheelchair assessable mobility vehicle.  Chef Carl has identified a mobility van which cost around 30 thousand dollars from a company named AMS Vans.

A job that Chef Carl is interested in is a job with a ride sharing company and to our knowledge, car share ride companies do not have mobility vehicles in their fleet to offer rides to those persons who rely on mobility vehicles!!!

PLEASE help Chef Carl so that he can get back into the mainstream work force!!!  Let us show Chef Carl how much we want to THANK HIM FOR HIS SERVICE TO OUR GREAT NATION!!!
