In memory of John

My heart breaks for the loss of a truly amazing person, john Leahy. At 31 years old, John was the epitome of a great guy. He had a laugh that was contagious, a smile that brightened your day, and hugs that warmed your heart. He will be missed by all. With this unspeakable tragedy, he leaves behind a wife, Maria, and a beautiful 8 month old baby girl, Giuliana. The excitement John had when he found out he was having a girl was palpable from miles away. We knew he would be an amazing dad since he was an amazing husband. On August 26, 2014, his life was abruptly taken. At age 29, Maria now has to tackle the roles of both mom and dad to her precious daughter, while coping with a huge loss. I'm kindly asking for a simple donation to help Maria start a savings account for her daughter's future. At such a difficult time we want Maria to focus on healing and staying strong for her and Giuliana. We will continue to keep John and his family in our thoughts and prayers, and through any small donation, we can also offer concrete help. I cannot begin to express the sadness I feel for everyone that has been affected by this tragedy-his wife, child, parents, siblings and dearest friends. My sincere condolences go out to you all. Though he may not be here with is physically, john will continue to live on through his beautiful daughter, and in the many wonderful moments he created with everyone who had the good fortune of knowing him. We love you John, you will always have a place in our hearts!
