Dot's cancer fight!

Hello everyone, my name is Cara Trotchie and this GoFundMe is to help my bestfriend Kortney Krystik's mom Dot Glennie fight cancer and help pay for cancer treatments and everyday life expenses as Dot is currently unemployed due to medical reasons.

2021 has been an uphill battle for Dot to say the least. From having covid, to breaking her foot and arm to almost dying from appendicitis in September where she spent weeks in the hospital. Now she is in for the biggest and hardest fight of her life. On November 20th Dot was diagnosed with cancer, it was on November 22nd that we found out just what kind of cancer it is. Aggressive lung cancer in both her lungs. Now anyone who knows Dot knows that she would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. That's just who she is. And now its our turn to do the same for her and her family.

Dot is one of the most kindest, funniest, hard working, always positive, devoted mothers and grandmother I have the privilege of knowing. Some would say she has the luck of the Irish with always winning social media contests and she has won a lot in the 5 years I have known her. I wish she had that good luck when it comes to her health but unfortunately she does not. But that's where we come in. We can raise money to help her and her family pay for cancer treatments, other medical expenses and of course everyday living expenses. The family is already struggling and trying to come to terms with their moms unexpected cancer diagnosis. So if we can help relieve some of that added stress that comes with unimaginable news like this for Dot and her family then that's just what we are going to do.
