Doris Duke Falls Forest Preservation

Tax deductible
You can help us save Doris Duke Falls Forest from timber activity. This public land includes exceptional (rare to region) botany and rock cliffs that are essential to the ambiance of the iconic waterfall.  MWCD decided to sell the logging rights for $77,000.  They have been paid $45,000 and we are trying to buy out the rest to stop the destruction of this rare to this region habitat.  MWCD has agreed to negotiate with logger once we "have money in the bank".  Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

In order to make gifts tax-deductible and provide an existing reputable 501(c)(3) organization, NCOLC will accept donations and hold until a deal can be reached in the near future.

We quickly have raised $7,000 in a couple generous personal donations and would like to have at least $23,000 more to save an protect this land.

More information about North Central Ohio Land Conservancy: NCOLC's mission is to protect the natural heritage of North Central Ohio through conservation easements and public education regarding the importance of natural areas. NCOLC protects over 1600 acres of land that we safeguard for future generations.
