Hurricane Dorian Bahamas relief fund by Savannah Aviation!
Savannah Aviation has collected thousands of pounds of much needed relief supplies that now need to be transported to the less populous islands in the Bahamas to help those who were most affected by hurricane Dorian.
Claire Going of WSAV news flew with Savannah Aviation to the Abacos to deliver donations to the residents who were hit hardest by Hurricane Dorian. She spoke to survivors about their experiences living through the category 5 hurricane and what they need moving forward. There are many costs associated with transporting relief supplies to the Bahamas. A typical relief flight with Savannah Aviation can cost up to $2000 when you consider fuel and operating expenses of the aircraft.
Your donation will not only go towards transportation by air, but also help fund ground transportation to South Florida where larger collection points are standing by to receive donations to then fly or ship to the Bahamas.
Please consider a monetary donation of any amount you can give so to help can continue to help those most in need.
We are Savannah Aviation: Flight School and Maintenance facility
