Dora's flooded home

Hi all, I'm starting this campaign on behalf of Todora (Dora) Damyanova (78y) whose home has been terribly affected by recent devastating floods in Bulgaria.
Dora herself thankfully got away with only a broken rib as she managed to get to a high ground before the wave flooded her home completely. Unfortunately, her house is one of the most badly affected ones because of it's location - right next to the (usually) small river and at the lower part of the village where most of the debris, wood and sand has been dragged - more than 1000 qubic meters of wood and thousands of tons of sand and rocks... The house and yard are currently full of water, mud and destroyed furniture up to about 1.2 meters...
We are now working on shoveling all of this out which will take a while, but is hopefully something we can manage with the help of family, friends and volunteers! The house is currently unliveable in, and will take months to dry but after that's done it will need to be completely renovated - walls, floors, furniture - everything.
The funds gathered through this campaign will go towards buying materials, furniture, appliances and anything else needed for the renovation. As you can imagine Dora doesn't have a UK bank account so I've added Kristina Mincheva, Dora's niece and my girlfriend, as beneficiary, who will transfer the money to Dora or use them directly to pay for the things mentioned.
