Dora’s Accessible B&B project

While working with the Iona Community in Scotland, Iona I found it was one of those special places where people would encourage each other to achieve their dreams and never give up. I was blessed to meet many amazing people. Among those people was Judith Boulden, from Vancouver, Canada, whom with I shared my dream of one day having a Bed and Breakfast.
This B&B in my home country of Uganda will offer accommodation that will be accessible and inclusive so that locals and visitors alike can have somewhere to stay and experience the same hospitality that we learned while on Iona.
Jude has now offered match-funding dollar for dollar for this project. This will be constructed on the land we purchased with the money I earned while I worked on Iona. I am now looking to crowdfund to help us build the B&B.
This business will help me to become self sustaining and also help support the “Dora's Loos For All” charity I started up on Iona, which provides accessible toilets for schools across Uganda.
I hope that you come visit this B&B in Uganda, and stay with us to experience the hospitality of an inclusive community. We will be located near national parks that offer the beauty of the country, along with sustainably run safari trips.
