Our mother has passed on Dec 14th 2017. After 5 years of battling this horrible disease she can now Rest in Peace! We love you my Queen! Thanks everyone for the prayers and donations we appreciate it.
As many of you may or may not know our mother Dora Cordon has been fighting a long and hard battle with colon cancer. In March of 2013 our mother recevied news that no one should; she had been diagnosed with colon cancer, from that day on she went through various runs of chemo and clinic trials to try to put her cancer in remission.She went into remission on November of that same year but it only lasted a few months.
She has been tough and an optimist through it all. Seeing her day to day struggling with this disease has been hard and we always had hope that it would one day be defeated. Unfortunately on November of 2017 the doctors told us that she only has a few weeks to live due to the fact that her cancer has metastasized to her liver,lungs, stomach and ovaries.
Currently she is in home hospice care and my father has had to take a family medical leave to care for her. Many of you have expressed your desire to help out but don't know how. We have created this gofundme to try to alleviate some of the financial stress that this situation has put on our family. We hope that you can donate, a little goes a long way, God bless you and thank you for your help and wishes.
Como muchos de ustedes saben nuestra mamá Dora Cordón ha tenido una larga y dura batalla con el cáncer del colon. En marzo del 2013 nuestra mamá recibió una noticia que nadie debería de recibir; había sido diagnosticada con cáncer en el colon, desde ese dia ella ha estado recibiendo varias rondas de quimio para poder dormir el cáncer. En noviembre de ese año se le durmió el cáncer por sólo unos meses.
Ella ha sido muy fuerte y optimista a lo largo de todo esto. Verla cada día con está enfermedad ha sido difícil y siempre teníamos esperanza de que se le podría curar la enfermedad. Desafortunadamente en noviembre del 2017 los doctores nos dijeron que sólo le quedan unas semanas de vida debido a que el cáncer se le ha metastatizado a su hígado, pulmones y los ovarios.
Actualmente ella está en casa en cuidado de hospicio y mi padre a tenido que tomar tiempo del trabajo para poder cuidarla. Varios de ustedes han expresado su deseo por ayudarla pero no saben como. He creado está cuenta de gofundme para poder aliviar un poco del estrés financiero que está situación ha causado a nuestra familia. Esperamos que puedan aportar algo, un poco puede ayudar mucho.
