Dooagh Pipe Band 75th Anniversary

This March, St. Patrick's Pipe Band, Dooagh will celebrate 75 years in existence. To mark this significant milestone, the pipe band has established a steering committee to organise a number of events and to put in place some lasting memorials.

Each year the pipe band relies on the generosity of people in Achill on St. Patrick's Day to meet the significant cost of running the pipe band and we are eternally grateful for that. We know the disappointment that many have felt over the past two St. Patrick's Days and that is why we are determined to make 2022 a real celebration of history, music, culture and pride in our unique traditions.
