Don’t let the thieves steal my mother’s dream too

Hello, everyone. I really hate asking for help and I hate that this situation has taken place again. For those that don’t know me, my name is Thomas and I’m starting this fundraiser for my mother. A lot of you may know her as, Michelle but to me she’s my heart. She’s a very sweet and caring woman that always puts the needs of everyone else before her own. My mom put her dreams on hold to help others and I was able to finally convince her to do something for herself and to focus on her dream a couple years ago. My mom has been saving her hard earned money for a couple years now and started plans towards her dream a year ago. Her dream was to purchase her 1st home in the city of Detroit, fix it up, and try to help do her part with rebuilding our great city from within. Within the city of Detroit are thousands of abandoned properties that were once homes and that has also bothered my mother. My mother has always had the dream of helping to rebuild her city from within, one house at a time. Her dream was starting to become a reality and the first property that she purchased was close to being completely renovated. She’s been so excited because all the hard work was finally showing. That was up until she was robbed of almost EVERYTHING a few days ago. The thieves broke into my mother’s dream home in Detroit and took everything that they could get their hands on. I mean they took all the brand new windows, new building equipment and materials, new bathtub, new flooring, new hot water tank, new furnace, etc. They even ripped the new sinks and cabinets off the walls. This is actually the 2nd time she’s been robbed by thieves in this manner in less than a year. Back in December of 2020, the same dream house was broken into and robbed of all the new electrical equipment and materials, new dry wall, new roofing equipment and materials, plumbing materials, etc. At that time it was also devastating but my family and I was able to come together and help my mother replace those things that was stolen and even with the help of family the first time, my mother still had to re-buy a lot of the things that was stolen on her own. This time it’s just completely devastating and myself and family are depleted of funds to try to help my mother achieve her dream. It’s just so frustrating to see my mother keep going through this when she’s done everything in her power to do things the right way and to try to achieve her dream and complete her dream home. I am now forced to do something that I hate doing which is to ask for help but my mother really needs it and she doesn’t deserve to have something like this to keep happening to her. So, I am asking for any help including financial help, materials, workers, anything that can help my mother to achieve her dream. We are more than thankful and grateful for anything that anybody can provide or donate. It will be much appreciated.
