Don't let him go homeless this Christmas

Donation protected
One of my dearest friends, who wishes to remain anonymous, is at high risk of becoming homeless. We will call him John for the purpose of this text.

All year John has worked at various places to try and keep a roof over his head but after recently losing his job he is at a loss and in a really frightening position financially. John is a kind and funny person who is always there for me and now it’s my turn to be there for him. Unfortunately I am not in a position to help him myself so I am turning to you and asking for your help.

He has been relying on Universal Credit to help him but they have messed up his most recent payment and are refusing to correct it which has left him with no income this month. John has been applying for jobs as often as possible but with the high volume of applicants due to Coronavirus, he has been unsuccessful so far.

Christmas has already been a hard time for him since he has little contact with his family and is currently living alone in tier 4.

John was made homeless before a couple of years ago and has since been terrified of that happening to him again. He has seen and been in so many scary situations on the street and in homeless shelters. We can't let him go back to that place when he's worked so hard to get this far.

With your help, we can help John to remain in his accommodation where his is safe and supply him with food until he can find work again. Please don’t let him go homeless this Christmas. Whatever you can give is helpful.
