Donnie Erickson's cancer fund

My brother Donnie Erickson was recently diagnosed with  colorectal cancer, which has been devastating to all of us.Donnie has always been a giving person, asking for nothing and giving his all unconditionally.  About 30 years ago, Donnie had an arteriovenous malformation on his brain.  Donnie qualified for disability at that time and has since lived on a fixed income.  He currently lives at the Mary Lee Foundation for people with disabilities.  His  only transportation is the bus line, however since I am retired I am his transportation and loving it. Some of you may have heard him play in the 70's and 80's with our brother Roky Erickson.  Don also played with New Atlantis and Interpreter. Don still plays beautifully and for the past 3 years has donated his talent to the Stand Up for Safe Families Paddle Parade at Town Lake.  Don has insurance, but like all policies and the cost for treatment, there is still a need for additional costs and co-pay.  With love and respect, Mikel Erickson.
