Donna's Battle

Donation protected
Donna Huckeba Joyner was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma on May 11, 2018. Multiple Myeloma is a form of bone cancer that came unexpectedly in her life.

She is currently going through chemotherapy at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan and will soon have to go through a stem cell transplant. She will have her transplant at Emory in Atlanta. Donna will have many appointments before her transplant to ensure that her health is in good standing and for the collection of her stem cells. The transplant is a long grueling process that involves her staying at Emory for 2 weeks. After her 2 week stay in the hospital she will have to stay in a hotel near by the transplant center for an additional 2 weeks. Staying at the hotel will provide her a place close by for her many appointments she will have to attend after her transplant. She will need 24/7 care that her family and friends will provide.

Donna will be out of work for an extended period of time for this process which will be hard financially. She is a single parent to her son who is a junior in high school.

We will accept all donations to help pay for the cost of medical bills, treatment, lodging, and travel.  Please continue to pray for her and her family as we kick cancers butt!
