Team Don, Fighting Strong.

Don did not quite make it to the strict 100 days post transplant before his cancer returned, with a vengeance. Now face one of the most challenging forks in the road of this journey... he starts a chemotherapy treatment that is designed to give him more time ( no cure from modern medicine). Unless we can come up with a drug trial or something, this is it. It has a 50% chance of being successful. His leukemia is devastatingly aggressive. We will know in a month or less if it’s working . If it works, he continues with 2 more months of treatment. If it doesn’t , we may be out of luck. We have no idea how much time we have, we just know that it’s possibly limited. We’re praying for miracles and trying as much alternative therapy as we can .
