Donations for Kidney Transplant Surgery

Hello to everyone.  I want to first of all thank you for taking the time to visit my site and for any donations that you are able to assist with.  I have been in kidney failure since June 2011. I began taking dialysis treatments 3 times a week in August 2011. Though it has been very difficult at times, I have been truly blessed in spite of my health condition.  I am currently on the transplant waiting list, but an angel, my cousin, has stepped up and volunteered to donate one of her kidneys to me.  As you can imagine this information has changed my life and will change it permanently forever.  With the soaring cost of healthcare, this surgery is very costly.  The cost of surgery for just me is in excess of $300,000 not including my angel donor. My prayer and goal is to raise at least 10% of this total for uncovered medical expenses, travel costs for my donor and myself, accommodations and medications. The medication cost monthly after the transplant will range from $200-$500.  These anti-rejection medicines will have to be taken for the rest of my life after the surgery. The transplant procedure is currently scheduled for December 2012. Any donation amount that you are able to provide will be greatly appreciated.
