Donations for Survivors of Residential Schools
Hi everyone,
My brother Erik and I are looking to raise funds to help our nearby First Nations communities following the news of the unmarked graves found so far at the sites of residential schools.
As of now, more than 1500 children have been recovered.
The monies will be shared between 2 communities for their fund to support residential school survivors and to improve a monument dedicated to survivors and victims. The receiving Communities will be Elsipogtog and Sipekne'katik.
We will be running 13.9 km's per day for 10 days starting on July 6th as there were 139 schools.
Please donate if you can. If you cannot donate, please share as much as possible.
We start Tuesday July 6th. On day 10, July 15th, we will be running in Elsipogtog with community members, ending the run at the Residential School Monument.
