Donations For New Kitchen At The School
Donation protected
We are looking for sponsors / donations to help transform this space into a working kitchen to feed the pupils and staff everyday and to help teach vocational skills such as cooking and restaurant work. These transferable skills can help the students find jobs when they leave school and could potentially help feed their families and other refugees living in the camps nearby.
We are looking for the following donations:
monetary donations,
kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens fans, sinks etc.)
white goods (new or reconditioned)
kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc.
Presently we give the children a simple lunch of a sandwich and fruit. The kitchen will allow us to provide a more substantive and nutritious daily meal. With our student numbers increasing by 100 this year to a total of 300 students this would be a great help.
If you would like to make a donation of physical items please contact us on https://schoolsforsyria.org/contact/ to arrange the donation.
The total collapse of the Lebanese economy and recent world events have made food for these children a luxury. We want to help them help themselves through education and vocational training. Many of these kids work on the streets of Tyre, earning a pittance to support their families in the refugee camps. With your help, they can have a future off the streets.
Father William Stuart started Schools for Syria in 2018, having identified a complete lack of education available to refugee children whose families had fled war torn Syria. Father William’s work has never been more important than now as many global NGOs have left the country. Please help us continue this work by making any donation you can.
Thank you
Father William Stuart
