Barbara and William Peters

For anyone that has ever had the honor of knowing Will (also known as Billy), you know what a remarkable and kind soul he is. His love and appreciation for life is something truly remarkable and inspiring. He always puts others before himself and is so loved by anyone that meets him and gives so much love in return. He graduated this past spring with his Bachelor's degree at Niagara University in Hospitality Management and has continued to work towards obtaining his Masters degree as well. Will is quite the traveler and has traveled to 22 countries and 52 cities.  You will never meet anyone who is more passionate about the little things in life- such as apple picking, cooking, hiking and exploring every inch of this world. Throughout this difficult time Will has remained himself in every way. He continues to ask everyone how they are doing and about their lives even when he isn't feeling his best. In July of 2016 Will was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. He received oral chemotherapy at the Buffalo Medical Group, and eventually transferred over to Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Will underwent a bone marrow transplant in October 2017. He was beyond happy to be given the chance of a second life. He continued chemotherapy and within the next few months his health did not improve as everyone was hoping. Will is currently in the ICU at Roswell. He is battling many health issues no 23 year old should ever have to endure. At this time we are asking for help with medical costs so his mother, Barb, has one less thing to worry about during this difficult time. Will's wish right now is to go home where he can rest comfortable and spend time with his family and friends.
